Walkabout® MOTHER BINS (WMB) has announced an agreement with Oz AG Machinery in Ballarat, Australia. Oz AG will assemble, sell and service Walkabout® MOTHER BINS in Australia. Dave Hedt, CEO/Founder of WMB said the agreement will guarantee his company’s ability to provide the innovative, quality constructed Walkabout® MOTHER BIN to customers in Australia as the demand for this harvest equipment grows.
“It has been a passion of mine to make the best mother bin possible and bring it back to Australia,“ said Hedt. “I am happy to have found a partner with an experienced team and a reputation for quality and value to help me do that.”
Oz AG was founded in 2010 by Chris Findlay of Findlay Engineering and Noel Blackmore, a farmer from Mannibadar. In starting their company, the pair embarked on a long period of research throughout the world, sourcing machines that met their value/quality criteria. The result is a selection of good quality, fit for purpose, well priced farming equipment. While initially focused on delivering value, quality is now Oz AG’s most important consideration.

Walkabout® MOTHER BINS is a USA owned company, headquartered in Faulkton, South Dakota, focusing on quality constructed mother bins. Two models of WMB are available: the 4000 bushel (110t) Eastern Grey and the 6000 bushel (165t) Big Red. Both models provide grain farmers with a portable grain storage solution designed to break the harvest bottleneck. Owning a Mother Bin results in a faster harvest, lower labour costs and increased profits.
